Today is the never ending world of laundry. Every time I get the bin empty there seems to be something else to wash. It’s like Mary Poppins endless bag which would be super cool to have but no if it’s filled with laundry.
We have been discussing moving to another condo. While I am totally not in the mood to move right now, it would actually be nice to have some extra space (that is if we could find something bigger).
The real frustrating part is that we are looking at about a 70% increase in the rent we are currently paying. This is one of the reasons why we have stayed her so long, because they can only legally increase our rent a certain percentage each year (which they do without fail) so we have been able to stay low compared to the average.
The rents along with the price of buying have increased significantly over the last few years, and I don’t actually know how people afford it. The amount of people that are working just to simply pay rent/mortgage must be astounding. No wonder there are so many bankruptcies and foreclosures.
We are going to look at a couple of places on the weekend so hopefully at least one is good. One is in the building we currently live in but larger. It would be nice to only have to move up a couple of floors 😉
*I just ordered the skirt above. The colour is so lush. I’ll let you know how it works out.
