We get to do a full-on Halloween costume test run tomorrow to see how everything comes together because there is a Halloween event for kids down the street. Merle will take any excuse to wear a costume. She would wear one 365 days a year if she had a larger variety to choose from.

I’m trying to get the girls to clean and organize by bribing them that we can put the Christmas tree up early. As it currently stands there is no place to put it. With a little organization and moving some things around, we can clear out the corner that we used last year. I don’t want to have to do this myself hence the bribery.

I’ve slept a total of 5 hours over the last two nights and I am tired. The first night I have no idea what my problem was, last night Tom was snoring like a beast and flailing around all night. I probably should have camped out on the couch. I’m hoping tonight is a better one.

I just started watching The Great Courses lecture called Warriors, Queens and Intellectuals: 36 Great Women Before 1400. I highly recommend it if you have a subscription.
