Oh look at that! I fit five outfits in what I wore this week 😉 The other two days I wore outfit 4 on repeat, because sometimes when something works and is comfortable you live in it for a little while.

Tonight was an “everyone fend for yourself” kind of dinner, because Tom worked until 6am on Saturday morning so his schedule was all out of whack for the rest of the weekend. Which means that I didn’t feel like investing a lot of time in to figuring out dinners, but I’m sure he will just order himself something from Skip the Dishes later.

Our Wii decided it was going to crap out today which is upsetting since I am the household reigning champ at Mario Kart. It won’t read any discs, and I am not sure if that is fixable.

Merle wanted me to play Mario Kart with her, and since that didn’t work out she chose for us to build a puzzle…….a really big puzzle. Four hours later and we only are 1/4 done. My neck and eyes hurt.

Tis the season for planning our next school year. I actually should have got my shit together and figured it out earlier than this because if I have to order things from the US they might not arrive on time.

Every year we have the basics that we incorporate into school like math, writing, history, science, and foreign language. Then we get the “fun” things where they get to pick one or two subjects/topics that they want to delve in to. Merle picked engineering, and Roo picked paleontology. This should be fun trying to figure this out 😉

A quick Value Village run was made today though, and we managed to find a piece for Merle’s Lydia Deetz Halloween costume. She is going for the black dress, black jacket, hat, camera, and Handbook of the Recently Deceased version of Lydia. We just need to decide, to wig or not to wig?

  1. Love your style. Do you ever help people with their style or help put together capsule wardrobes?

    • Hi Charlene,
I’m not a stylist so I kind of shy away from giving advice about how people should be dressing themselves. I only know what works for me and hope that it helps others. That being said; I have a few times put together some capsule wardrobes for the blog based on other people’s tastes. They have given me some ideas about what they like in style and colour and I kind of built one around that. I’m not sure how well it worked out for them though 🙂
