Do you know what I wish? That I was really technologically savvy. I do alright, I can make things work most of the time, but there is a whole world out there that I know would be so beneficial in many different ways but completely baffles me.

I’m currently working on SEO, because when I started my blog I had no idea what I was doing. There are so many things that I would change now if I could go back. For example I would start with https right off the bat, I would not include dates in my URL’s, implementing SEO strategies from day one would have been a game changer, and investing in a good theme.

Things that are changeable now but could really mess up my site of they aren’t done correctly which is why I am avoiding them like the plague. I need a tech person, but they are expensive. In the meantime I am trying to teach myself stuff with a total lack of hours in the day, and apparently total lack of brain capacity as well. I am currently reading about schema and I feel like I am in the Twilight Zone. Sigh.

How the heck to people figure this shit out on their own?

It is supposed to rain a lot over the next few days so maybe I’ll take advantage of that to try and learn something…..or maybe I’ll just cry.

  1. Hi Sara! I really enjoy your blog, your clothes are always interesting and the snippets about your kids and routine put a smile on my face . My husband and I are going to London and Barcelona for the first two weeks of October. We are going to London for a birthday party, and decided to spend a week in Barcelona as well. The party will be dressy, and I’m looking for an evening bag that is special enough to dress up a versatile but relatively plain black dress. It would be even better if I could carry it throughout the trip. Do you have any suggestions? Thanks so much! Loralee.
