What I Wore this week. I am wearing a long black dress as a shirt, Black Levi's Ribcage jeans, Madewell Boardwalk sandals, and a large woven tote.

I am sitting here laughing right now because Tom found some huge Dragon Mega Bloks sets at Value Village today (from 2003), and they are trying to put them all together without the instructions. After years of being the go-to Lego builder in his house I am just going to sit back and watch. I’ve earned it.  

I kind of wish that I pulled together a decent amount of thrift store donations to drop off before bringing these sets home because there is so. many. Mega. Bloks. 

They are literally spreading from one end of the living room to the other with an abundance of cat stuffed animals to border it. Do you see why I never take photos of my house 😉 Luckily Tom seems just as excited about this set as the girls. Roo actually put down her video games to come out and help assemble them.

Did you make it through the heat wave okay? I’m thankful for air conditioning at this time of year because it would have been really rough to ride it out without it.

Does anyone remember back in 2003 when there was a heat wave and so many fans and air conditioners were going that it overloaded the power grid? The power went out for a few days on and off and it sucked. It wasn’t even as hot as this either. 

Thankfully it seems the worst of it has passed and we are back to more normalcy this week. 

I’ve got two more weeks left of being in my 30s and I am not sure how I feel about that. I just ordered this Retinol from Paula’s Choice. It has excellent  reviews so I figured why not. Have you ever used it before? If so, how did/do you like it? My forehead needs some help :/ The noticeable aging points on a woman: the forehead, neck, and elbows and I have 2/3.
