Who else is going through a heat wave? I am not looking forward to this weekend where it is supposed to top out at 48°C. It’s Brutal. We’ve been hiding indoors all day, and plan on continuing to the rest of the weekend.
Since the instore sale started today, I was thinking about going to go check out Nordstrom this weekend….but I’m leaning towards nah. I’m not really feeling the sale this year. I hear that everything it pretty picked over, and has been since the first couple of days. I don’t need anything anyway.
Side note: I saw one bloggers Nordstrom sale haul that looked like my complete wardrobe. It was pretty crazy. I can’t even imagine being that comfortable spending such a large amount of money on clothes all at once. I’d rather spend it on a vacation.

We are apparently hving a heatwave this weekend… of a whopping 26C (that’s about 79F for my fellow Americans). England, eh? Don’t get me wrong, it can be a bit unpleasant when it’s really sunny and you don’t have AC, but back home this is spring/early autumn weather.
Funny enough I almost mentioned the Bowie Barbie in an earlier post where you’d mentioned both the Frida Kahlo Barbie and the 50th anniversary of Space Oddity, but wound up getting sidetracked.
Oh man. That’s my kind of heatwave. It’s just so damn humid here in the summer. I can’t stand it. I feel like England weather is my ideal weather, and I need to figure out how to move there sooner rather than later 😂
That’s so funny about the Bowie Barbie. I’m so badly sidetracked they days. I used to be an amazing multitasker. Now it takes me three times as long to finish any task. It’s so frustrating.

And how hard was is getting use to using Celsius vs Fahrenheit?
To be honest I still don’t really “get” Celsius, but I have learned the conversion formula and can come up with the temperature in Fahrenheit pretty quickly. The formula is (Celsius x 1.8) + 32 for anyone interested.
