Here comes the long line of bitching I will be doing until autumn. I hate summer, and it was sooo hot today. I can’t believe that people actually like the heat, because I would rather wear a winter coat any day than have this heat. Are you a hater of summer?
What do you do when you have a kid that is obsessed with cats? You attend Meowfest this weekend. This should be interesting. Let’s hope it cools down a bit beforehand.
Have a great weekend!

Hi Sara, yup, once the temperatures here pass 100 for the summer, I’m pretty much done with the season. So, I feel you.
I’m getting into reading again and have been following the BigHaired Bookworm on YouTube. She’s been reading “Circe” by Madeline Miller, and really is enjoying it. Are you familiar with it? How about “Where the Crawdads Sing” by Delia Owens? A blogger I follow recommends this one.
Meanwhile, I’m becoming hooked on Thred Up. All three of the cargo pants I bought fit well. I now have two orders in process at the moment (I got some amazing deals, including a Michael Kors wool sweater for $11!). Fingers crossed everything will fit, since the folks at TU seem to becoming lazy when it comes to measuring garments. If all goes well, I will have a fairly dreamy capsule wardrobe.
P.S. Love how you expand readers’ minds intellectually with your weekly reads. Cheers, Ardith
P.S.S. Have you come across any enlightening articles about why friendships have become so bloody, bloody hard to develop and keep?
