How did you spend your evening tonight? I spend longer than I would like to admit, learning how to darn socks. Merle got a hole in her favourite pair and aside from that they were in great condition, so I thought I would try to fix them. These instructions were quite helpful.
I can’t believe June is almost over. The girls are still finishing school because we took off longer than normal over Christmas so we have to go into summer. We are slowly wrapping up finishing subjects every few days. It all depends on how determined they are to finish though 😉
It’s Canada Day on Monday so it’s the first long weekend of summer. There are always fireworks right across the street, so that is probably the extent of our celebrations. Canada Day crowds are not fun.
