SHOP THE POST

Another weekend down and it went too fast. We planned to go to the Flea Market on Saturday morning but an accidental sleep-in changed those plans. I decided to move the living room around instead, and the we did the flea market today.

I always find a vintage hat that I like whenever we thrift shop, but it is always way too small. Either my head is massive or people in the 1930s had really small heads.

We literally just walked in the door and I’m not feeling well. I am writing this from the bathtub while I’m waiting for my ibuprofen to kick in and Tom listens to his new/old Blues Brothers record. It’s a lot quieter in here, especially since the record player is about 5 ft from my computer desk.

I didn’t find anything for myself today except some 5-year-old cheese and smoked meats but I’m happy with that 😉 I did get to try my new Everlane Day Glove flats for the first time and they were great. I find them quite comfortable, with absolutely no issues of rubbing or pinching that you usually get with new shoes. The leather is butter soft, and I LOVE the colour. I think red May be my new favourite colour, but I think I would like these in a nude as well.

The weather today was the nicest it’s been yet. The day was completely sunny, and I had to make sure to put on a strong spf because I am using a new facial peel that is strong and I don’t want to burn. If you are looking for an at home peel that is affordable (and I say peel lightly because I don’t think it actually makes your skin peel) then you should try this from Deciem (the Ordinary company) it’s only $7.20. I have loved all of their products that I use. They use great ingredients and are so inexpensive.

*This is my new/old band jacket that Tom found for me at a vintage shop last weekend.

Onward and upward to a new week. Have a good one.
