SHOP THE POST

This Easter bunny is tired today, and a nap would have been nice. Roo has always been pretty mellow with holidays and was never an “up at the crack of dawn” type of kid. There were even several Christmases when we had to wake her. Merle on the other hand is highly excitable and tried to wake me at 4:45 a.m this morning.

Yeah no. I was not rising at that time, because I had only gone to bed at 2. She gets super excited over everything though. When we went to the museum on Friday she tried to wake me at 5. I made her go back to sleep though because the museum doesn’t even open until 10. Any other day of the week she doesn’t want to rise, so I guess it balances 😉

I’m gagging my way through a piece of cheesecake at the moment. Not because it tastes bad, but because I am on sweet overload. I have trouble with too much sweet at once, and it makes me gag if I try to force it.

I had grandiose plans of productivity this weekend that apparently went in the shitter. One more day left, and that I am spending getting my tax crap together. No, I haven’t submitted them yet. I am cutting it close to the April 30th deadline. I know I am going to owe, and I am nervous to see how much so I am putting of off as long as possible.

Spring is definitely in the air and it is making is really hot in here. Our building runs on central air and heating and they don’t switch over to the air conditioning until the long weekend in May. I am sure it is going to be grossly hot by then and I am not looking forward to it. Sleeping is already getting uncomfortable.

On a positive note, all of my Easter presents that I ordered arrived on time. I was a little concerned but it worked out well. So if you ever need to buy from the Lego store online, don’t hesitate because they ship really quick.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend if you also get tomorrow off. If not, I am sorry for rubbing it in 🙂

  1. Hey! Really love your posts. I’ve got my eye on those Levi’s Wedgie jeans you post, but apologies for the personal question – how tall are you? I’m afraid these might make me look even shorter than I am!

    • Not personal at all! I am 5’3″. I would recommend the wedgie straight (bottom picture here) because they come in a 26″ inseam to give that cropped looked, but if you are shorter than 5’3″ than they will make a nice ankle skimming style without alterations.
