I took Roo to the dentist today to get two cavities filled. It only took 35 minutes because they were really small but cost $881.
That’s insane and I am so thankful that we have really good dental coverage. It wasn’t that many years ago that we didn’t and we couldn’t have afforded to get those teeth filled.
I personally feel that dental coverage for children should be covered under our Universal Health Care because so many families can’t afford to bring their kids to the dentist. – End rant.
Today I have packing list request for 10 days in Germany in the fall. This one focuses on The Romantic Road, and that happens to include Rothenburg ob der Tauber which is quite literally the city of my dreams (it’s the city in the collage photo above).
It’s such a well-preserved city from the middle ages it’s like a step back through time and I am dying to see it. The video at the bottom of the link I included shows its season highlights. I think my favourite part is it at Christmas. Does anyone want to move me there? 😉
Can I just say that one of my favourite colour combinations is green and camel, and when the requester told me that this is their favourite too I was excited to find some pieces that worked.
I was also excited when I saw that my loafers also come in a burgundy wine colour. I have both the black and the animal print styles and they would go nicely with the burgundy colour…..just saying 🙂
In case you are curious about them, they are really comfortable. I wear them with a small pair of no-show liner socks and have never had any issues with them.
Fall capsule wardrobes for travel are way easier than winter and even summer sometimes because it is just a matter of layering.
If I had to give 1-2 tips to having a versatile home or travel wardrobe it would be to stick with a palette that mixes and matches well, and learn how to layer.
Have you mastered the art of layering? It’s one of my favourite things about fall and winter.
