Now that summer is here my packing list requests are starting to focus on fall trips so they will start to reflect that (there are a couple of summer ones that I am working on still so if you asked for one they are coming). First off fall is my favourite time of year. I love to wear sweaters and light jackets without being too hot or too cold. Walking around drinking hot drinks, while wearing scarves, with the changing leaves surrounding me is something I love and look forward too.
Amsterdam is one of those places that everyone seems to have on their travel wish list. It is so versatile in what it has to offer that it appeals to people for many reason. You have the fresh out of school backpackers, staying in hostels and appreciating the party scene.
The history and art lovers who may want to experience Anne Frank’s House or The Van Gogh Museum. Families can appreciate boat cruises in the canals, Vondelpark, visit Artis one of the oldest zoos in Europe, or any of the above. Not to mention the food and bike riding. There are lots of amazing things to do and experience.
Even if you aren’t spending all of your time in this one city, this list will have you covered for mostly anywhere else you might be headed, except maybe a beach resort 😉 I have an older Amsterdam packing list as well, but since someone made a request I thought it was worth an update. Outfit options will be in the next post.
Do you have a favourite season to travel?
