Sorry for the late post. I am trying to get them out in the morning or a least before noon but today I was running around like a chicken with my head cut off and now it’s 6:00 p.m. and I haven’t posted my Friday post yet.

I accidentally slept in which threw the whole day off. I try to get up when Tom goes to work (on the days it is not a 4am) and was kind of laying in bed until I heard the door close. I rolled over to get up and then suddenly it was much later and I realized I fell asleep mid sitting up while still holding my phone and water (good thing it had a lid). So that kind of started things off with a bang.

Then when I went to put on my makeup and realized there was absolutely no foundation left. I had to literally scrape it out with a small makeup brush and paint it where I could. I swore there was a lot more in there yesterday so I wonder if a certain 11-year-old was touching it.

The kids and I went out to get more after we finished school work, and a trip that would have taken me 20 minutes without kids ended up being 2 hours. They had to pretend every manhole was a transporter, and every seeded dandelion needed to be blown into the air to make a wish, and stopping so often you miss the light change three times on every corner.

I bought them dinner there to save some time and now and here we are back at home. Obviously it wasn’t a catastrophic day just really unorganized and I just wish there were more hours in it to get shit done.

This post the follow-up to What to Pack for Amsterdam from yesterday. This one includes 20 outfit options from the pieces in the list with room to make more. In this one I included one of my favourite colour combinations blue and camel.

This blue is more of a teal or petrol colour (as they call it on the website), but I also really like camel paired with navy blue well. While I am usually a black, grey, white, and denim person as most of my selections reflect. Sometimes I like to inject a little bit of colour 😉

What is your favourite colour combination?
