12 Easy Spring Outfit Ideas

Once again I am feeling more inclined to post spring outfits than spring capsule wardrobe this week. I am in the mindset of working through my closet to see what kind of spring outfits I can make that I can also transition to summer.

It’s been so back and forth with the weather that I can’t even pack my winter coat away yet. Although today is beautiful, and it is heating up my apartment to an uncomfortable level.

It is also helping to see what kind of things that I may want to add to my spring wardrobe this season.

I am wearing a vintage sweatshirt, wide leg jeans, and Isabel Marant boots

I am wearing an Anine Bing sweatshirt, wide leg joggers, and New Balance 327

I just spent 45 minutes of continuous plunging trying to unclog my kids’ bathroom. What is with kids? I swear I have to do it at least twice a week. I clock it in as cardio minutes on my iWatch.

This shit is ridiculous…literally. At least we have two bathrooms now so I can take a break and go back to it if need be.

Weekly Reads and Finds

So our new lockdown starts tonight at midnight I believe, which is right smack dab in the middle of a long weekend. They thought that one out really well. Who wants to bet that people crammed in as much visiting as they could today?

While not a heck of a lot will change for the region I live in because we have been in a constant level of lockdown since the end of November. This new one is province-wide which “should” help somewhat…maybe.

I’m not feeling optimistic though based on the last year.

One of my favourite topics is budget shopping. I love finding something that is a great bargain and will work well in my wardrobe. Today I put together 10 budget spring outfits to showcase how you don’t need to spend a lot of money to wear a great outfit.

Most of these outfits are for places that don’t get extremely hot in the spring until you are closer to summer like it does here. We are still wearing winter-ish coats at the moment.

A lot of the pieces will work in summer as well and are very transitional.

I am wearing a cashmere sweater, joggers, a trench coat, and New Balance 327

We’ve been in this new apartment for a couple of weeks now, and I will say that this side of the building is way windier than the other.

I don’t ever recall hearing the wind whip so much or feel the rattle of the gusts in all the years we were in the other apartment. It’s crazy windy here today…or at least it sounds like it because I actually haven’t gone outside today.
