SHOP THE POST
We had another good score while thrifting at Value Village today. Tom found a Scooby Doo Lego set that was retired, and now sells on Ebay and Amazon for almost $400 Canadian. I wanted to buy Merle this set for Christmas a few years ago, but because of the price increase I obviously didn’t.
So you can guess who got to spend the rest of the afternoon building it today. I am the designated Lego master in this house so when they want a Lego set built fast and correctly it always goes to me.
Quite a few years ago when we got Roo the Harry Potter Diagon Alley Lego set for Christmas I spent Christmas eve after the kids were asleep building lego with a big bottle of wine. I’m not going to lie, it makes it a little bit more fun.
Roo is FINALLY tackling her room today. It’s probably because I caught her still awake, watching tv at 4:30am last night. I got super pissed and shut the internet access off to her room so now she is trying to get on my good side.
I finally learned how to use the Francis Francis espresso machine that we found a Value Village about month and a half ago (ours is blue). It’s a really good quality one, and although we had to order a piece that was missing from it (Tom found a replacement one on Ebay) it is going to be a game changer. I don’t even have to put sugar in it anymore which is perfect since I want to cut down on it.
Lastly I signed up for BeachBody on Demand to give it a whirl. There are a couple of friends that I have online that use it and I am always motivated by their workout posts (and the changes that are happening with their mental and physical selves). It’s only $39 every 3 months which is significantly cheaper than a lot of exercise programs I see, and there are so many more workouts to choose from. I’ll let you know how it goes once I start 😉
That’s one of my goals for my 40th year.

From rocker chick to romantic beauty, all in one week. Awesome wardrobe mash up. Cheers, Ardith
I swear I responded to this last week but it must of never posted.
Thank you Ardith, the last look is the Free People dress that I had been dancing around buying. I probably should have went down a size, but it’s not overly big. The fabric is great though, I really love it.
