A storm just blew in so I hope that the power doesn’t go off while I’m working at the computer. It always scares me to have the computer on during a storm even if it plugged into a proper surge protector outlet. I had a television that blew during a lightning storm when I was a teenager and it’s made me paranoid ever since.

I ordered a dress and shirt from Zara this past week but had to return them today. The dress was way to big, and really roomy in the chest area (so if you are busty and looking for a 100% cotton wrap-ish dress then this might be worth a try). I actually loved the shirt but the puffy shoulders on it did not look cute on me. It was disappointing but I’ve learned not to keep things that I am iffy about.

I’ve been looking to embrace more colour lately though, so maybe I will order this skirt instead. I love the colour. I’d like something yellow too, because yellow tends to be one of those colours that suit me.

A head cold is going through the house right now and all I hear is sniffing, coughing, and sneezing which is making everyone whiny and is driving me crazy. I can’t wait until the weather transitions so the germs subside. It was actually warm enough to wear my sandals for the first time this season (today) and it was a nice change. Although I had to paint my toenails first which is something that I enjoy about winter. Not having to worry about what condition your feet are in 😉

Tom and I are currently arguing about the price of things listed on Ebay. He thinks that everything he sees on there means it is worth that much. I say things are only worth as much as people are willing to pay for it.

For example, he found a 1996 Disney glass at Value Village and saw that someone has listed one on Ebay for $100. I say that he inflated the price hoping to get an offer that is somewhere in that ballpark. He thinks we have a $100 glass in the house now. This is the type of shit we argue over….
