It rained most of the day today and was like 17 degrees, which is amazing. I could open the windows and turn down the AC, and I did so happily. I love the sound of rain, maybe not mixed with traffic, which unfortunately is pretty heavy in this area, but it was still relatively peaceful.

Which made me think of one of the condos that we looked at when we first moved here and how amazing it was.

Aside from having a convenience store on the second floor of the building, the main bedroom was oddly shaped but in the best way, with 3/4 of the walls being floor-to-ceiling windows.

It was raining the day we went to see it, and all I could think about was how peaceful it would be sitting in that room.

It also had a hallway-style walk-in closet in the same room with the bathroom at the opposite end.

I wish we picked that one, but it was more expensive and there wasn’t much wiggle room at the time. Although I prefer the location of the one we currently live in. That was so long ago.

Usually when I sell something on Poshmark, depending on the time of day that it sells, I pack it up and drop it off the same day.

I have no idea why my brain says that I must ship the same day, and will accept no other options. But it annoyingly does.

So last night I sold something pretty late, and I swear I almost had anxiety because I would not allow myself to drop it off today.

My to-do list was way too long, and it is Sunday. The mail won’t go into circulation until tomorrow anyway. But jeez, is this ultra anxiety a perimenopause thing too? Because it’s gotten bad lately.

I’ll drop it off tomorrow, and it will be okay.

I also need to brainstorm some easy and inexpensive dinner ideas before tomorrow, so I can get some groceries while I am out too.

Because of some picky eating, we have a very small rotation of meals that work for everyone, and I am so tired of them. I just want to eat cereal and drink tea.

As you probably noticed, and because I already talked about it, I gave up on trying to dress for summer. So unless there is another extreme heatwave, I will be doing light fall dressing, henceforth.

When I was digging through bins to take pictures for Poshmark, I came across a green leather jacket that I had from YEARS ago and also haven’t seen in many years.

Anyway, I can’t believe that it used to fit me. Jeez, that jacket is small. I know we wore things fitted back then, but I don’t think I would even get that past my elbows now.

I have also been contemplating cross-listing on eBay, but with all these stupid tariffs and mailing rules for some EU countries, it makes it almost impossible to sell anywhere but to Canada.

I so miss those early years of eBay where you could buy and sell basically to anyone in any country without much effort.

Those were the glory days of online selling where it was more like a big online garage or estate sale, and we hadn’t yet been infiltrated by Shein quality items.

We had no idea how good we had it. Everything is such a clusterfuck now.
