Currently, I am attempting to tackle my Sisyphus-esque pile of laundry that I have purposely been avoiding this weekend probably to my own detriment.
I also took a ton of pictures of things that I intend to load up onto my Poshmark that have been sitting in my “get it done pile” for quite a while now.
A pre-order that I placed months ago for a Christmas gift that my oldest wants finally came in a shipped. I was little concerned that it was going to be delayed like a lot of things seem to be for the past few years.
So that is a load off my shoulders since it was basically the only thing she asked for.
All of my assignments that were due Friday at 11:59 pm were submitted successfully, so now I am constantly refreshing my assignments page to see if they were marked.
The instructions were super vague for some of them, so I want to see if I actually was on the right track.
The leaves are starting to change which is honestly the only sign that fall is here because the weather has been warm and very sunny.
Some rain would be nice.
My youngest has her first sewing class this week which is both excited and stressed about.
She really likes to create things sewing by hand and machine and I figure a class can teach her how to use the machine way better than I can.
I kind of self-taught and don’t know all the tips and tricks to sewing. More of a fly by the seat of my pants sewer.
So in order for her to get the most from her machine and create endeavours we figured this would be a good class to try.
I can’t wait to see how it plays out in both projects and skill.
It is the Vintage Clothing Show this weekend in Toronto, and I am having a crisis about whether to go or to go on a thrift store crawl instead.
On one side there is always fantastically amazing one-of-a-kind items and just walking around it is a whole experience.
On the other side, between tickets to get in, and parking it is going to cost us around $100 just to walk in the door.
The prices of the stuff there are through the roof, and we don’t really have a lot of extra cash to be spending there right now since the Hollywood strike is still on and Tom isn’t working/working much.
I think we probably will just wait until it comes back in the spring even though I have been looking forward to it for 6 months.
Hopefully things will be better by then.
Plus, it is Halloween time at Value Village which is always a fun time to shop there.
