I am going to start by complaining because what do you mean it is the middle of October and it feels like 36 with the humidity? And we have no AC because they shut it off on Friday to prepare for the cold season.
I am sweating so bad right now; it feels like it did in July.
It will be back to seasonal norms tomorrow, thankfully. Jackets again.
And speaking of jackets, I have two amazing ones first. I think this 1930s peplum-ish mini tailcoat one might be my favourite of the night. It is pricey, as most things this old are, but I had to share anyway.
Then there is a vintage blazer with all kinds of patches, tassels, and braided epaulettes. It is so fun and unique. You know I love a statement jacket. It reminds me of Moschino.
This piece is phenomenal, and I think I might have to add one to my wardrobe. Use it as a statement belt over a jacket or blazer, or even a button-up to cinch it and give it shape as well as make a statement.
I am in love with the black boots by Costume National. I have a vintage heeled boot by them which I love, but these are something else.
They look like a hybrid of an oxford, jazz shoe, and a military boot. These are fantastic, and I want to find them in my size.

Back on the fringe silk scarf train with a vintage Ralph Lauren paisley print. Every fall wardrobe needs a beautiful scarf, and the colours are neutral yet still colourful.
This vintage brooch is extraordinary.
It looks like a framed embroidery for your wall, and I kind of really want it. I’ve never seen one like this before. It is pretty substantial in size as well.

Last week I had purple leather gloves; this week I found cobalt blue, which is the colour that I want.
These are cashmere-lined, but I also found a pair of Anne Klein cobalt leather gloves for an amazing deal in cobalt as well.
This bag is everything you would want in a bag, and the colour is so good. It gives me 90s/Y2K vibes.

And remember when I was talking about purple trending last week?
Here is a vintage Ralph Lauren velvet jacket in purple to go along with my purple and velvet fixation.
As a sucker for animal print and vintage Ralph Lauren, this bag checks all the boxes. It is in great condition.

I will keep sharing grandpa cardigans until I get sick of them, so don’t hold your breath.
The search is still on for me as I try to find things within Canada first since the customs fees are out of control. This one is wool and in the U.S., so it doesn’t work for me. The wool yes, the location no.
I am pretty certain that this vintage aviator/bomber jacket has the best patina I have ever seen. This is one perfect jacket, and whoever gets it is a lucky fucker. I say that with love.
I adore the lion head pieces so much, and this lion head medallion with chunky chain is perfect for the statement necklace trend that is coming back.
It is not bubble necklaces that are coming back this time, thankfully, but I do love a statement necklace.
This vintage Dolce & Gabbana black leather bag is amazing. It is the perfect black bag.

Another pricey piece, but my other favourite of the night is these Roberto Cavalli snake print leather mules.
The long toe, and the stripe of blue coloured snake down the centre. I would grab these in a heartbeat if I could, but these are men’s, so they will work for the bigger-footed ladies.
I know it is hard to find shoes in larger sizes for women, and these are pretty damn glorious. They are a size 42.
Another vintage silk skirt, and this one is a lavender purple. Look how pretty this is. It feels very Y2K to me and I think I had one very much like this way back in the days of yore.

That is it for tonight, friends.
I am off to find my inspiration for this week’s wardrobe post, which will be the first winter one. I have the idea brewing, but I need to see if I can find the clothes that fit the mood.
