Last week was so lovely with the cooler, fall-like weather, and then today I went out without checking the temperature, and I was wearing too many layers. It was still nice out but was leaning heavily on the summer side of temps. Boo.
I noticed this week, though, that I am going to have to go through my sweaters and use the sweater shaver on them to freshen them up.
A lint brush, sweater comb, and sweater shaver (I have this one) are in my wardrobe maintenance toolkit. It is how we keep our sweaters looking good so we don’t feel like we need to buy new ones to replace them.
On the topic of lint brushes, if you are looking for a pet hair remover for your furniture and carpets, this one is fantastic, and it doesn’t need a million sticky papers.
I should also expand on my sewing thread colours so I always have the right colour thread I need for any small hole repairs.
The product image carousel is still not working, so this is another post I will have to update once it gets fixed. Unfortunately, they don’t work on weekends, so I probably won’t hear back until tomorrow later in the day. Update: It has been fixed.
I can’t believe September is almost over. It is almost time to drag the Christmas tree back up here, and it feels like I just dragged it down to the storage room.
Speaking of storage rooms, I went down the other day because I knew I had a bin of Converse that I wanted to get listed on Poshmark.
When I was down there, I also noticed there was a stack of bins in the far corner that had clothes in them too (clear bins), and I couldn’t get to them.
It will be a big adventure to go through that storage unit and see what I have, but the last time I attempted to, the overhead lights decided to shut off on me, probably because I was in the unit and they couldn’t detect my movement.
I wrote about it a long time ago. It was straight out of a horror movie. Anyway, I am going to have to repeat that if I want to see what is down there. I am like 95% sure that I have a cobalt blue pair of vintage Adidas stirrup pants down there somewhere.
What bin they are in is the question…
