This week we had the unfortunate experience of our first day over 40 degrees Celsius of the season, which is super depressing since it is only June. It’s like a preview of what is to come when summer actually fully hits, which won’t be pleasant.

But with that comes the fact that we are going to start to see the transition to fall in stores. Which is exciting.

Not because I need new fall things, but because it is my favourite season to dress for, and I love the inspiration. There are even a few pieces that I included in this post. I really like the men’s field jacket.

Honestly, though, I could very happily stand out in a blizzard right now. I much prefer the stinging of cold and snow hitting my face than the hot air from hell.

I have fallen behind in posting outfits on Instagram this week. I have been taking them, so they are in my phone, but I have a bit of social media fatigue, and I keep putting off posting. So I will probably get caught up this weekend in time for Sunday’s post.

This weekend, I really need to get my shit together, though, because I have not submitted my taxes yet and they need to be in by the 15th. I have been avoiding it because I don’t want to see my balance owing jump back up again by another 8 thousand.

This is so depressing. One step forward, two steps back is the story of my life.

In case you missed it, I talked about building a collected wardrobe versus a curated one in yesterday’s post.
