It pretty much rained and was overcast the entire weekend, and I allowed myself to not do much. I sat in bed by the open window and listened to the rain while reading all day Saturday.

And I actually finished a book.

I haven’t finished a book in a long time. I get started and then fizzle out.

Even books that I was looking forward to reading, so this was a big deal for me, especially for someone who used to read multiple books in a week.

I really miss those days when I could voraciously read, and there weren’t as many stresses to occupy my mind.

This morning, I took a little adventure down to the storage locker and dug out about 25 items to list on Poshmark. I need to steam and iron most before I can take pictures, but I hope to get them up this week.

Take a look at this stunning top from Zara that just came out tonight. The colour, the shape, the button closures…Sorry, I am jumping between doing this post and checking out the new stuff, and that caught my eye.

I’m still in the market for a hat with a large brim. Something to keep me covered while also still looking good. Not like I am going to attack the back garden.

Sometimes, completing a couple of small tasks that you have been putting off makes a big deal on how you feel. I did two small things today that I literally have been avoiding for months, and it made a notable difference mentally.

Plus it made a tiny difference in how tidy an area looked, which is also a win. I figure, if I can muster the motivation to do sp,ehing like that every day, or almost every day, I might actually get control of the chaos that is this apartment.

Here is to more productivity this week. I have faith in you if you are in the same boat.

Take care of yourselves.
