Weekly Secondhand Finds (Vol. LXXIII)

A white background with a collection of 24 finds from the past week.

This week, I was focusing mostly on 90s and early 00s inspiration, and there are tons of those to be found out there. There may be some older and newer items, but generally, the vibe I was going for was during that time span, visually, but not always directly from then.

These were the things that made me do a double-take, or in some instances gasp and be sad that I can’t buy them.

So for starters, I wanted to dive in with some slip dresses. I actually think one might be a nightdress, but it is shorter, and I would just wear it as a longer camisole.

The black one is a Simone Rocha for a steal. So minimal and perfect for easy spring and summer dressing.

The purple one is vintage Calvin Klein and was one of the gasp-worthy finds. That colour. The trim has some iridescence, and the length makes it look like it would make a perfect longer cami top.

I love a vintage enamel earring like these large flowers.

There are a lot out there in so many styles and colours that you can easily find your perfect pair with a little search.

These shoes are one of the recent pieces, and are from Tibi. I saw these when they came out, and I wanted them, so of course I am sharing them secondhand.

If I had some money, I would add these two pieces to my summer wardrobe instantly.

This black asymmetric pocket skirt is by Vivienne Westwood, and with this shape, it is anything but minimal.

The second is a sports tank dress by Emanuel Ungaro. This is a brand worth searching. I love the sheath shape and simple sporty tank straps.

Another Vivienne Westwood piece is this cardigan with a clock face on the front.

I am a sucker for pieces with interesting details, and this is super interesting. It is also one of the pricier items tonight, but the seller may be willing to haggle.

You absolutely can never go wrong with vintage Gap. It just hit differently than the recent stuff.

This belt is leather with red calf hair and is a stellar piece for a pared-down summer wardrobe.

Sporty satin bombers are an incoming trend, and this one is from the iconic Bill Blass. I love the colour.

I had a lot of vintage Sonia Rykiel pieces that I wanted to add tonight, but ultimately I didn’t want to go overboard, so I narrowed it down to two.

This red wrap shirt is the first. Pair it with something high-waisted, wear it over a slip dress, tee, tank, or cami. Perfect.

Ugh. How much do I want this round Jimmy Choo bag?

I don’t even need to list the reasons because you can see just by looking at it.

This second bag is a vintage Longchamp Roseau backpack that is similar to one that a friend recently found and bought from a vintage shop, except hers is a sling style.

It is such a great shape, and is so 90s.

The other Sonia Rykiel piece is this beautiful, lightweight, dressy wrap jacket. I would consider this an evening jacket. It’s stunning, and a size XL, which can often be hard to find in vintage clothes.

These shoes. The high vamp block heel is something that we are seeing start to trend. It is such a great shape and such a versatile shoe.

I love the white. While it is a regular neutral, this stark white stands out, and with the black heel, it is anything but boring.

And for the finale, we have two jackets.

The first is this amazing Napoleon-esque style leather jacket that almost has a bomber jacket shape.

The second is vintage Escada, which is always a fantastic find. The colour blocking in this jacket is so stunning, and I would love this as well.

I wouldn’t mind the leather jacket either.

That is it, friends.

Thanks for sticking around to the end. I hope you find something that you love, or inspiration to find something similar.
