Welcome to April, where the day was 26°C, and now it is 5°. I went sockless earlier for the first time with my newish flats and had all my windows open. Now I had to close the windows and am sitting under my electric blanket.
Although I prefer the colder temperature, the drop was quick, so it felt colder than it truly was.
Not much was open today since it is Good Friday and most places are closed, but I did get a walk in before the weather started to shift.
Today I realised that I am not the traditional woven spring/summer bag kind of person.
I haven’t owned one in years, but my Issey Miyake Bao Bao bag (which I brought out today) has a great spring and summer vibe, so I will claim that as my summer style bag.
On Thursday, I sold something on Poshmark, and I packed it quickly with the intent to get it posted and in the mail system before the long weekend.
Then, Poshmark decided to glitch and not generate shipping labels for more than 24 hours.
They didn’t even send out an email to let us know. After being annoyed for several hours, I had to find out about the issue on the Poshmark Canada Reddit.
It apparently was fixed a few hours ago, but I haven’t verified yet. So now I get to go out into the rain later today at some point and drop it off, when I wanted to avoid the Easter crowds this weekend.
Anyway, happy chocolate weekend.

One of my favourite Paintings is Hieronymus Bosch’s Garden of Earthly Delights, and I recently discovered via this Instagram reel that someone years ago transcribed the musical notations that are found on a guy’s butt in the painting. You can hear Hieronymus Bosch’s butt music played on authentic time period instruments here.
