Weekly Secondhand Finds (Vol. LXIX)

a collage of different types of women's clothing and accessories. All vintage or secondhand.

Since the spring-like weather that we were experiencing here decided to disappear for the time being, I figured I would get all inspirational with spring in this post, in hopes that it returns.

For some reason, when I source things for these secondhand finds posts, I like to include pieces that work with one another, so I also included some outfits made from my favourite selections this week.

Would you call this blazer spring green?

Whatever you call it, it is bold and would be a beautiful addition to any wardrobe.

These off-white vintage Simon Miller thong kitten heels are so on trend right now. But with these you get a pair of substantial quality that are already broken in.

Win-win.

How about these Miu Miu Mary Janes in a fantastic green as well?

There are a lot of Mary Janes kicking around right now, but I have yet to see a pair in this colour.

I adore the shape, colour, and heel height of these brown boots. They are a great price, and the mesh-like upper is perfect for when the weather warms.

Technical jackets are in, and I want this grey version. It might be too small, though.

Another easy way to bring a trend into your wardrobe, and this one is very wearable and utilitarian.

I just realised that I don’t have a white or cream leather bag yet. I do have my white Issey Miyake Bao Bao bag, which is more of a fun/statement piece.

But an actual leather tote would be so useful.

While I am not all in for the sheer fabric trend, and you would absolutely never catch me in a sheer skirt, I do love this little sheer tunic blouse.

I probably would layer something lacey underneath to bring it up to my comfort level.

Seriously. This sheep skirt is the cutest thing I have seen in a while. It is by Moschino, who loves campy, and this skirt has the perfect amount of campiness to it.

I am a huge fan of snake print.

I am an even bigger fan of snake print in colours like this bag. It is a Y2K Guess bag, and I believe it is a satin fabric.

It definitely feels very Y2K.

How about this snake print trench in an almost patina bronze colour?

Napoleon jackets are in, and I love the lining in this one. There are so many on the second-hand market. You just need some patience to dedicate some time to weeding out the overpriced ones.

This white crossover top is one of my favourite pieces. It is S’YTE by Yohji Yamamoto which is a gender neutral, online only, sub-brand of YY.

How about this Just Cavalli Y2K era (I think) brown blazer with gold markings? It is a beautiful piece.

These jeans are the priciest tonight, but also one of my favourites.

They remind me of the hand paintings from the Caves of Lascaux, which are one of my top bucket list items besides time travel.

I know the caves you tour today are not the actual caves, but exact replicas since they had to seal the real ones off due to humans destroying them.

I still want to see them, though. I have a fascination with early mankind, and these caves are incredible.

So I want these jeans. I think they are my favourite of the night.

Since I am a Leo, I am a sucker for anything lion, like this large lion head brooch. It reminds me of an old door knocker.

And lastly, if you have not heard of Roberta di Camerino, then let me be the first to tell you that you need to know her.

Her trompe l’oeil bags are some of the most amazing bags I have ever seen. This brown version below is probably one of the coolest bags I have come across in a very long time, and I am feeling very sad that I am so broke right now.

That’s it, friends.

There was some cool shit tonight, and I would be lying if I said that I am not bummed that I can’t get anything.

Here are the outfits that I promised with my favourite pieces of the night.
