I woke to freezing rain today, and I got a late start because I had to wait for it to stop before venturing out. It would have been nice to get everything done early, but skating on a sidewalk isn’t my idea of fun.

If you ever hang out on Threads, you might have come across the posts talking about alternate timelines.

Specifically, the breakfast bagel post, where a lot of people replied with their alternate timeline experiences.

It is surreal, and the fact that I am rewatching Fringe probably makes it hit even harder. I am not a tinfoil hat person, but after this year, I think an alternate timeline might be plausible.

I had to walk through the grocery store with a defective shopping cart today.

I hate that, and I would have swapped it out, but the way the store is set up is the only way to do that is to go through the checkouts and out the exit, then back through the front, which is obnoxious.

That meant I had to shop in slow-mo so it wouldn’t make horrible squeaking sounds.

For the last three hours, I have had the Toy Story song, You’ve Got a Friend in Me going through my head on repeat.

I haven’t even heard that song in a million years, and it is driving me nuts.

Sometimes I wish that I didn’t have an internal monologue because this shit is getting ridiculous. It’s non-stop.

Funny story: When I was a kid, I remember telling my mom that I heard voices and that turned into a million questions because I think she was scared that I might be schizophrenic or have some other mental disorder.

When in reality, I just have an internal monologue that never shuts up. I just didn’t know what it was back then.

In case you missed it, I have an indie sleaze capsule from yesterday.
