It is like Silent Hill level foggy out tonight, if you know that video game/movie, you will know what I am talking about. It’s kind of scary the way it stifles the sound. I do love it, though.

I am not really keeping track of the duration, but this was another no-spend week. I have not broken the hiatus with any new or secondhand items yet, but I should probably keep track of the time just in case I want to beat my best time someday.

Although I do have my eye on that washable silk maxi slip skirt from yesterday’s Edgy Minimalist capsule. I am in the market for a slip skirt in a longer length.

Every one that I have tried on recently is at a weird midi-length.

They always look as though they need to be an inch or two longer on me, which is strange because I am not tall, and they always look longer on the model.

So I am not sure what that is about.

Anyway, I like the length and that it is a washable silk versus the satin/polyester that we often see. I also have my eye on the Mongolian cashmere sweater.

I do have a black cashmere sweater, but I bought it about 4 years ago, and while it fits, I was a bit smaller then, and I prefer the fit more relaxed.

So those two are spinning in my mind, along with a handful of secondhand items that I think would make great additions to my spring and summer wardrobe.

Still on hiatus, though.

Ooooh. Here comes the wind now. I wonder if we are going to have a storm?

I am so happy the clocks are going ahead tomorrow, and I really wish we would get rid of the time change like B.C. just did.

Off to read now and hopefully asleep before 4. It’s been bad lately.

*My favourite piece from the round-up is the burgundy pony hair Vans. I am so bummed they aren’t in Canada.

  1. Thursday was super foggy and cold here. It was also World Book Day, so the weather combined with all of the kids running around in costume made it feel like Halloween. I was not mad about it.

I have also not bought anything for myself this year, until this week. I had this secondhand burgundy lambskin leather jacket from The Kooples in my ebay cart for months. I sold a few things online so decided to go ahead and get it before someone else did. It was about £35 in total, with shipping. I haven’t found the exact style and color, but their leather jackets seem to be between 300 and 500 from what I’ve seen, so I can’t believe it was still available after months. Other than that the only stuff I’ve bought is Easter presents for kiddo (a Wednesday LEGO set and a Stray Kids mascot plushie).

    • Kids in costumes and fog go well together 😂 Burgundy leather is in my wishlist, it’s such a lush colour. I’d love something with pony hair in burgundy as well. That is an incredible deal though. I’ve got to get on the Easter present train myself. We don’t do a lot for Easter but I don’t want to wait until the last moment. My husband’s current show he is working on is over soon so we will be down to one income until he finds another, and it’s going to suck.
