I was trying to be all winter outfit inspiration last week, and then Mother Nature sent us the warm weather curveball for a few days.

It should be back to semi-regular programming this week.

You know how I said that Zara would probably be okay to shop around now, since it is two weeks past the start of the sale?

It was a lie.

I went to the post office today and brought a Zara return with me so I could stop in on my way back home. It was literal chaos.

Being a worker who has to clean that shit up every night after close would be a nightmare. People just don’t care and rip everything apart.

Maybe it is because I worked in retail for a long time and I know what it’s like having to clean up these messes, but I try so hard to refold and keep things neat.

Anyway, it was chaos, and I should have turned my ass around and left, but I walked to the back to see how long the return line was.

I assumed they would be using the online return terminals, which I hate because they take up to a week to process, but they weren’t.

All returns were being processed in real time, so I decided to jump in line and not take the risk that the kiosks would be running again the next time I came in.

Once you were in line, you had to commit because they were roped off and you weren’t getting out of that line without causing a small scene, so commit I did.

My wait was 45 minutes, but it’s done, and I will not be returning to that store until that sale is over.

If I am being honest, it was really uncomfortable to watch the people running around, tearing through everything, grabbing whatever they could before someone else could get it, just because it was marked down super cheap.

So much of it was dirty and stained as well, because once again, people do not have any respect with dirty hands, food, stepping on things, and makeup stains.

But for some reason, people still have fomo over the dregs of the sale stains and all. So if you are thinking of going in, you do not need anything from the Zara sale.

Save your money.
