I am climbing out of my electric blanket cosiness to get this up and running. It was not a pleasant one today, being -24°C with the windchill.
I can literally feel the cold pouring through the windows.
This has been the winteriest winter here in a long time, and I actually busted out the Uniqlo HeatTech layers today, which is something that I rarely do.
This week, I didn’t have anything in mind when I was searching, except for one item much farther below.
Although I was thinking more transitional weather, and spring, so I started with these vintage Calvin Klein cropped cords in grey.
Grey is like my go-to neutral because it is less commonly used than black and makes certain pieces more interesting, like leather.
Which you will also see further below.
Then there is a vintage Dior little velvet jacket, which I believe is actually a piece of 1980s loungewear, but I would wear it as a cropped little blazer or top layered over a camisole.

Here is the other grey piece, a vintage leather jacket.
This one I wanted to add to my cart, but I am reining it in while I am trying to get my taxes paid off.
This little gold pouch necklace is AMAZING. And very much something that we would/are seeing in stores right now.

I love a good derby or Oxford shoe because the androgynousness draws me in, but I really like this bicolour pair.
They would be really fun for spring.
Calling all the witchy boots. We should all embrace our inner witch, and these cute little kitten heels also have a Victorian vibe to them.

So, I lied, I actually was looking for something, pony hair bags, I forgot.
I came across this one that is a pony hair and leather hybrid in a beautiful merlot colour, and was instantly drawn to it.
I actually wasn’t planning to match here with the gloves, but they do go really well with this handbag.
Sometimes all you need to up your winter outerwear is a really fun pair of gloves.

This is my “if you are looking to add a pop of colour” selections.
Did you see the recent men’s Ralph Lauren f/w 26/27? First off, you should check it out because it was iconic.
Secondly, this hoodie would have integrated well into some of those outfits. It was so good.
I am in the market for a neon bag. I think when I am wearing all neutrals the idea of adding a neon bag really pleases me.

I’m sorry, but this belt. It was way too good not to include. I love it.
It is wide so you would have to use it as a cinching belt, and I am totally okay with that.
Cinch your blazer with piano keys? Yes.
So technical wear and utility is trending right now, probably because the world is a dumpster fire and they think we are going to need practical clothes when it all goes to shit, not fantasy.
So when I came across this vintage Adidas windbreaker, I thought it was the perfect addition for utility and wearability.

Every time I see a denim jacket like this I want one. These cuts are so much more interesting than the traditional denim jacket.
It is very Isabel Marant coded.
How about a silk-blend blazer by Jil Sander? It might not have the technological aspect, but it would instantly make you look put together with zero effort.

And lastly, we are diving into some super feminine pieces.
Remember the jeans and a nice top era? This is a nice top that would work well for so many different outfits and occasions.
This last piece is what I came across when I was searching for vintage tailcoats. I bought a tailcoat recently after a long time looking, which you can see me wearing today.
And I thought that I would find another one to share with you, but I came across this 1930s women’s tailcoat and I almost died from its amazingness.
It is the priciest piece of the post, but it is almost an antique and is just so damn glorious that I don’t think you would ever regret it.
I wish that I could buy it myself.

And that is it for today, friends.
Now I must go crawl back into the heated cave that I made.
