I was hoping to have this out earlier tonight, but I was having some wifi issues today. It kept dropping a signal, and of course, the internet company pretends there are no issues in the area even though others in the building were experiencing the same thing.
And don’t get me started on tethering my computer to my phone, because the building is concrete, the signal is quite bad, and it makes tethering ridiculously slow unless I can find the perfect spot to get a signal and not move from there.
Thankfully, it resolved itself.
It is frustrating how dependent we are on needing an online connection. I was so close to packing up and going to the library (which is conveniently, directly across the street).
So this week is all about jackets and blazers with some other goodies sprinkled in.
Even though we are going through a second summer and the temperatures are uncomfortable and humid by the afternoon, the mornings are starting to get cool, and I often need a light jacket or blazer if I am heading out in the a.m.
I usually finish off with my favourite pieces, but this week I am starting with them. Both of these are items that I can see myself adding to my wardrobe.
Because I love a graphic tee, and this one is Michael Jackson’s glove. Seriously, though. It is special.
The second is a lady jacket-esque style, but itis made from a variety of plaids. It is one of the pricier pieces, but it is also something that I would wear so often.
It is not in my budget right now, and it is too big, although I would probably wear it anyway, because I love a good oversized jacket. I am going to keep my eye on it.

Next! Bucket bags are trending, and this one is actually quite a spacious model. I also like that it is a less commonly used animal print.
Then we have some croc embossed loafers in a beige colour, giving them a bit of a sheen. These are pretty badass.
I swear, the vintage magazine clutches are getting harder to find in good condition, but here is one from the 1970s in a great neutral palette.
Mine has a lot of green on it, which I love, but I would also like a neutral option. I just don’t need it.
I adore Oxford shoes. They are a great fall shoe option, and this colour is beautiful. They are by Celine.

If you don’t know this about me, I love elephants. A lot.
So when I saw this purse, it was an immediate yes from me. It says it dates from the 90s, which seems accurate based on the style.
I feel like they might be impractical, but I also don’t really care because these vintage archival Miu Moi open-toe boots are AMAZING.
This blazer literally looks like it could have come off the runway.
There were several designers that showcased this floral, velvet style jacket in many of their looks, and it is so decadent. The colours are just beautiful too.
I am so in love with this green leather jacket. It is stunning.
It is from the 80s, but it looks so chic and modern. I would be lying if I said this was not in my cart.

Do you love snake print as much as I do?
I am so very excited to see it come back in style, making it very accessible to find things in it.
But also, if you search you can find older pieces in the same print that are just as good as something new, like this blazer.
How incredible is this necklace? A climbing jaguar.

A vintage perfume necklace in the shape of a little purse. It’s so beautiful.
This one is a great option for the trendy pendant necklaces right now, but has some vintage history.
This brown bomber jacket is one of the most perfect examples of what I like in this style.
Not only is the brown a beautiful chocolate, the lining is red, making a stunning contrast. I also love some large front pockets and knit cuffs.

And finally, we have two Ralph Lauren pieces.
This sweater is stunning. The shape of it is so unique when it comes to sweaters, and the colour is one of my favourites.
Then we have the finale with a blue quilted barn jacket. This is perfectly on trend for right this moment. It is a fantastic option if you are in the market.

There is a bit of thunder and lightning right now, so hopefully it becomes a nice thunderstorm.
It would be a welcome change after this brutal summer.
