In case anyone is wondering, yes, I did speak too soon, and apparently did not knock on wood fast enough because phase two of the cold has hit, and it sucks.
I was just going to go to bed, but I was mostly done with this post and figured it would be pointless not to finish it and get it posted.
Last night I shared a vintage handbag that I came across while sourcing this post.
Usually, when something catches my eye, I share it first, and then if no one else grabs it in the first day or so, I might go back and buy it myself, depending on if I still feel the same way about it.
Not this time, though. I am sorry, I just couldn’t share because I wanted it a lot. Like, a lot.
And I am going to be so sad if the seller ends up not shipping it. That doesn’t usually happen on Etsy, though, mostly just on Poshmark.
Anyway, here it is if you want to check it out. The calf hair pair with purple snake print is just so decadent to me. I am very excited about this bag.
Self-control is usually my middle name, but there are several things that I wanted to grab from this week’s collection.
Starting with this red jacket. I always refer to these as Michael Jackson jackets, and it is such a fun piece.
Red is in this season, and a bold red leather jacket would make the ultimate statement.
The other piece is this Versace X H&M bracelet. I remember when this collection came out in 2011 and I wanted so much and had no money at all.
This bracelet is for small wrists. About 6″, which would fit unless my wrists have grown like my feet. I’ll have to measure.

Snake print is also a print of the season, so when I saw this bag by Danier, I wanted to include it because you know how much I love my Danier leather jackets.
I also really loved the colours and print on this Longchamp Le Pliage bag.

I thought some fall boot selections would be a great option, especially when I saw these vintage brown suede Prada kitten heels. They look so modern.
These leather patch boots are Y2K era and so fabulous. Imagine them with some cropped vintage jeans, a white t-shirt, and a leather or suede jacket.
They would make a statement.

Speaking of snake print, here is another option to incorporate it via accessories, like this long scarf by Calvin Klein.
You can participate in trends by using accessories, which can sometimes be easier than jumping into a large statement wardrobe piece like a jacket or pants.
This little cardigan is from the 90s and perfectly minimal in the way that only the 90s can be.

These Miu Miu patent Mary Janes are like a shoe that I would have travelled back to the 90s to buy if I could time travel.
Oh, the things I would go back to get if I could. Jeez, these are incredible.
And almost as incredible are these gold Miu Miu Mary Janes with a block heel. Very classic vintage Miu Miu looking.

I am a sucker for mixed media pieces like this Moschino cardigan with a grey knit base, and floral print sleeves.
Another vintage Monet piece, and it is good. A gold-tone, multi-strand necklace with a large decorative clasp. It’s stunning.

Check out this pink quilted Margiela skirt. It is a lovely piece with its A-line shape and knee length.
It is almost the opposite of the Versace skirt with its curvy shape and peplum-like overskirt.
It exudes femininity to me.

I am a sucker for Isabel Marant jackets, especially the denim ones with their 80s vibe and acid wash appearance. I love this one.
Also, I needed to include an olive green suede blazer because a lot of you have been searching for something similar after I shared the olive green jacket I bought a couple of months ago.

That’s it for tonight, friends.
I think I might try to go to bed earlier if possible.
I almost forgot, here is a bonus item from one of my favourite consignment shops. It is a pair of vintage Prada sports flats in an awesome colour combination.
They are too small for me, but I feel like someone is going to love those.
