From now until the unforeseeable future, you are probably going to see me sharing vintage suede. It is a current fashion “trend” that I am excited about, but also one that I think is important to search the secondhand market for because there is an immense amount out there.
There are so many suede jackets in retailers now that it’s almost overwhelming. But if you notice, they all look the same.
Mostly in the neutral tan, black, and chocolate brown, but the ones that I really love are the colours that aren’t seen as often, like this plum/ox blood, and burnt orange.
These two are stunning and will really make your fall wardrobe. I am currently searching high and low for an orange suede like this in a slightly shorter, and boxier fit with large patch pockets.
Will I find one? I don’t know, but I am sure as shit going to try.

Vintage graphic tees make my world go round.
They really can be such a personality piece to an outfit. Especially the funny ones. I have tons of band tees, but I am trying to ramp up my vintage graphic tee collection.
Remember when you used to be able to buy them for like $2.50 at the thrift store? I miss those days.
I audibly gasped when I saw this Dries Van Noten mesh shirt.
No, I would not wear this alone. Yes, I would wear this as a layering piece both over and under.
A quick and easy visualization is to layer it under this graphic tee, or under the cardigan, a little further down the page.
What a simple way to add impact to your outfit. I love it.

Sweater season is coming up, and having a handful of amazing sweaters is the goal.
What I love about this green one, besides the colour, is the slouchy coziness, as well as the buttons down the shoulder.
This yes Celine turtleneck sweater is stunning.
It is just one of those independently amazing pieces that needs nothing extra to enhance the look.
The colour is listed as white, but I think it might lean more cream, based on the warm tone it presents in the photo and lighting.

You can’t see them in this photo, but this first sweater has elbow patches.
I adore elbow patches, especially along with these epaulettes. It has both a military and academia vibe.
I don’t think I have seen a Ralph Lauren sweater in this mustardy, marigold colour before, and I dig it. It is lambs wool, so it would probably need to be dry cleaned. Keep that in mind.

Since I will never be able to afford a Celine Phantom bag, because of the a resurgence in popularity, I guess I will have to stick to the less popular (but not lesser) bags like the Boogie, which has phantome-esque vibes, and the Celine totes.
I am partial to the two-tone totes, but the solid leather bags are beautiful too if you can swing it (they are much pricier). Also, I am partial to the blue, which is very trendy and seen all over the recent Celine shows.
I need a blue bag. Well, not need, but definitely want.

Vintage Levi’s cords? Why have I never searched them out before?
I feel like my dad had a pair that I “borrowed” from him around 1995. Too bad they disappeared over the years.
I was thinking about all the clothes that I “borrowed” from him, and he never said shit about it, he just let me and played oblivious.
A little sweater cardigan is the perfect way to dress up an outfit. This is the one that I said would look great with the mesh shirt layered underneath.
It would take it from sweet to edgy in a blink.

I am a huge fan of Jil Sander oxfords, so I went on a little hunt to find these two.
The black and green need a little polish on the toes, but damn, these are good. I would be all over these if they fit.
The blue ones look like the blue Dries Van Noten pair that I have. A great way to add some colour while still keeping it classic.

And finally, some vintage jewellery by Kenneth J Lane, because we know that I am a huge fan.
This necklace is ultramodern looking and would be a great piece to own, while this bee brooch is utterly fantastic.
I love bees and think I might need to get this one if no one else grabs it because I adore it.

This week has been a little cooler and less sunny, which is really getting me into the fall mindset, hence fall inspiration pieces.
I can’t wait until we are fully in it. That is where my personal style really thrives.
