Here I was complaining about the heat, and then this week comes along, which is the weirdest May weather that I can remember, and I didn’t embrace it.

I should have been out taking extended walks before it inevitably switches back, and I won’t want to leave the house.

At least I got to wear jackets and layers again. And those green Adidas x Wales Bonner joggers are awesome. I’ve been wearing them a lot.

I found a size small and XL on sale here.

The good news of the week is that the mail didn’t suspend all operations on Friday like was expected.

It is still moving but at a slower pace because they’ve cancelled all overtime.

Which means hopefully those two vintage pieces I ordered from the US will arrive and not stall until they come to an agreement.

They are part of my summer wardrobe that I mentally planned so that would have sucked if they didn’t arrive until fall.

I was motivated to do some wardrobe purging today because I want to downsize even more due to being overwhelmed both mentally and physically.

I’m also setting aside some donations that can hopefully be dropped off this week instead of hanging out by the front door for months.

The storage locker needs a thorough go-through as well.

When we moved to this new apartment a few years back, the goal was to load things into the storage locker with intent and purpose so it would be easy to manoeuvre and organize.

But of course, moving day came, and it morphed into panic time,e and the storage locker became chaos instead.

I’m pretty sure that it is the fullest locker in that particular room.

It’s embarrassing, but it is so packed I don’t even know where to start. It reminds me of Monica’s secret junk closet on Friends.

I wonder if clearing some things on Kijiji would be a good option?

I miss the days when I moved, everything fit in the back of a pickup truck. For the record, I am not moving (knock on wood), I just want to clean out and downsize because it is overwhelming.

We are due for a major spring cleaning episode after having skipped it for a few years. I need to remedy that.
