Yes, I wore these boots every day this week and I am not sorry about the lack of creativity. I like them a lot and wanted to get in some good wear before there is more snow on the ground.

So yeah, tariffs are super fun eh?

I really love living in perpetual anxiety over things that could have been prevented.

On a positive note, my oldest is registered to vote in her first election, so that’s good and makes me proud that she is aware and prepared to do what needs to be done.

But damn, it’s been a rough two-ish weeks which feels more like months. but who’s counting…Me, I am counting.

I had all these grandiose plans of things I wanted to accomplish this weekend when I had a semblance of motivation.

But nah, that all went to shit when the anxiety kicked in.

I also wanted to play in my closet today and plan out some outfits for the week to get my creativity flowing but once again, I wanted to take a nap and hide instead.

I didn’t, but the pull was strong.

On to a different topic.

I don’t do my grocery shopping at Whole Foods even though they are really close, because that isn’t realistic for most middle-class people.

But I occasionally like to pick up a thing or two, like their baked goods.

They have really good almond cookies. They also used to have sweet potato with marshmallow muffins but I haven’t seen them in years, which is a bummer.

And their Green Goddess dressing is my favourite.

I also stupidly ordered a pair of vintage Levi’s from eBay for $25 and I now wonder if they will have 25% more in charges when they arrive.

He’s even destroying the secondhand retail market. People are going to flock to Shein and Temu because an increase on a $5 product is easier to swallow than one on a $100.

Say yay, we’re fucked. High fives all around.

Stay strong my friends.
