I took this week off from capsule wardrobes since they are time consuming and I didn’t want to spend Christmas Day finishing one. But I do have plans to get to a wardrobe post early this week so I don’t post it on New Year’s Eve.
The schedule is all over the place but that is okay because it is hard to keep track of time during this weird in between Christmas and New Year’s time warp.
Did you buy anything from the Zara sale?
I often will add things to my saved list throughout a season that caught my eye but I don’t want to pay full price for. Then when the sale comes around I check to see if it is still available and going on sale.
From there I narrow it down to the pieces that I went back to the most and will buy one or two and I got one piece today which I don’t actually like in person.
So that was disappointing, but the other piece is from Massimo Dutti which is also available on the Zara website and was on sale as well.
It is a shirt that I have high hopes for, and I seem to be disappointed in Massimo much less often than Zara. It was shipped separately so I probably won’t get it until Monday or Tuesday.
That was it though. I am not one to do a $1000 Zara haul. I don’t think I have actually ever done a haul, even a thrifting one. Well, maybe a thrifting one, once.
I am also in a decluttering and downsizing mindset at the moment so we shall see how that trickles down into my style and fashion.
