I have been asked a few times to share a book list of the books I have read to/with my girls over the years and I keep forgetting to. I know it’s hard to be constantly finding new books to read. We’ve gone through a lot over the years, many read twice (once to each kid).

So I will get to a list at some point but as I remember, I like to mention the ones that we have enjoyed.

We tend to lean towards series because it is fun getting attached to characters, so the majority that we read are books that have several in their series.

Last week I started a new book series with my youngest. She still likes me to read to her, and said it is the part getting older that she isn’t ready to let go of yet, so I’ll read as long as she wants me to.

Anyway, it is good. It is by the same author as The Ascendance Series which was fabulous, so we figured we’d try this one.

So if you/your kids like Roman history and magic then they will probably enjoy this.

And in case you missed it, I posted a modern 90s capsule yesterday.
