I hope you could have the holidays you wanted this year. I kind of felt like I was just floating through this last year. I’m not one that thinks that a new year suddenly makes all things possible, so I don’t do New Year’s resolutions of any kind.

Just getting through the other side is about as far as I can set a goal for.

If you have noticed, I haven’t been posting any daily outfits on my Instagram through the holidays.

Honestly, I haven’t been really getting out of my pyjamas.

The days have been dark and gloomy which is both demotivating and makes it hard to photograph anything in here, but I will get back into hopefully this upcoming week when it is supposed to be sunnier.

I didn’t embark on Boxing week sales except for one thing from the Zara sale which arrived yesterday and I will be returning.

I do in fact like it, but there wasn’t a wow feeling when I tried it on.

So while I appreciate the look, and would wear it occasionally, I know that it won’t be something that I go to grab often because there is a slight uncomfortableness in the fit that I know I will feel like constantly adjusting.

That’s okay though, now I know, and I can stop thinking about it and my money can go to something that I will wear a lot more.

Once upon a time, I would have kept a piece like this, but keeping pieces that I feel lukewarm about is not something that I want to do anymore.

Breaking bad shopping habits is difficult, but achievable if you are conscious of them.
