It is currently 12:30 am and I forgot that I brewed a cup of tea. I’m going to drink it anyway because I love a good strong cup of tea, but I am positive that I will regret it.

I am also trying really hard to talk myself out of ordering something to eat.

That might be easy though because I want a sub, and I think the sub place just stopped delivery for the night.

There are still a million options, but I’m not feeling anything else right now.

One of the things that I love about living in a large city is that the food and delivery options are extensive to all hours of the night.

It’s easy to forget that before this we lived in a city where the mall closed at 6 on weekends and the only food delivery you got was pizza.

I feel like if I can be indecisive for long enough then my only option will be McDonald’s’s which I really don’t feel like.

Weekly Reads and Finds and Some Videos:

Pantone announced their colour of the year for 2023, and it is Viva Magenta. It’s a lovely colour. Not the magenta that you automatically think of that is based with an intense pink. It is a more earthy version that reminds me more of a berry colour based with deep red and burgundy undertones.

I’m excited to see all the products that will come out in this hue.

The 100 Greatest Films of All Time. This is a decennial vote so the last list was in 2012.

The Trailblazing Black Woman Chemist Who Discovered a Treatment for Leprosy…and a white man took credit for it. Because of course he did.

Jenna Ortega Choreographed Her Own ‘Wednesday’ Dance Scene. My favourite part of the show. You can see the whole dance here, or obviously on Netflix. Stellar song choice.

Woman’s name and tiny sketches found in 1,300-year-old medieval text. The drawings are pretty funny.

This would make a good small gift for someone.

Some amazing doorknobs.

This wallpaper is my new favourite. Why can’t I be rich?

I really like these lamps. I’ll take the set of 3 in gold please.

  1. I think Wednesday is gonna be my next show to binge, at the moment it’s The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, I know it ended years ago now but I forgot it existed.

Sean Yseult from White Zombie has a design company that makes wallpaper and someday I will buy some.

    • I have yet to watch Sabrina so maybe I’ll jump on that now 😂 I just looked at Sean Yseult’s wallpaper and holy shit it’s good. I love the Aztec Medallions in the green. I may need a wall in that someday too.
