I just got a notification on Poshmark that someone sent me an offer on a creepy doll that we have been watching for a while. She dropped the price significantly which means they really want her gone.

That probably means she’s haunted, and she will probably arrive with a note from the seller saying thank you for taking her, and good luck.

This is alright by us because my teen is the type of person who would invite Annabelle into our home if she could.

On a side note, there was a shirt on Zara that I had been watching, so I took the plunge when I ordered a back-up pair to my newest favourite jeans.

The shirt looks like I am wearing AstroTurf, so it is a no-go.

I’ll be returning it tomorrow, and I’ll just put the money towards a sweater that I really want, that doesn’t look like I am wearing artificial grass.

It was a tad disappointing because I love the colour, but at least I was able to get some back-up jeans.

My/most sizes have been sold out for weeks, so I check every day to see if they get some returns in my size, and I was lucky enough yesterday to get one.

I always like a back-up in my favourites because there is nothing more disappointing than when you rip or wear out your favourite pants, and you can’t find another one to replace it.

Weekly Reads and Some Videos:

I heard about Fragrantica this week. I love perfume, although I don’t have a signature or favourite scent. This place gives you a great deep dive into every fragrance imaginable, and some that you can’t even imagine (although I am intrigued to smell that one). So informative.

Instagram ruined my personal style

How The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari Invented Psychological Horror Film & Brought Expressionism to the Screen (1920). My teen loves this movie, and you can see it here.

The History of “Hand Talk”

This Account of Colourizes Historical Images, and it is amazing to look at.

NASA’s astronomy picture of the day (a few days back) – An Iridescent Pileus Cloud over China which is so cool looking in a “scary, the world is ending” kind of way.

Some really cute bookends. They would make a great gift, because yes, we are thinking about Christmas shopping.

Playlists to study like a philosopher

Two Women in Their 90s Recall Their Teenage Years in Victorian 1890s London. This is fascinating.
