Weekly Reads and Finds

I went down to Walmart today with the intent of picking up a few things that I have noticed we needed this past week.

That quickly turned into a grocery shop because I figured that since this is a long weekend (not that, that means much right now) I probably should get everything done all at once.

Which once again lead to grossly overestimating my grocery carrying abilities.

It was raining too which made trying to hold up an umbrella while carrying groceries interesting. And the dampness was causing my hip to ache from my Tim Horton’s injury.

It was my first service job 20+ years ago and I fell off the ladder during a shift hurting my hip joint. It has ached on and off since that day.

I need to get another grocery cart. I have yet to replace my old one that the wheel fell off of, but it would make my life easier. Especially now.

Have a great weekend!

  1. This is a pretty brilliant post, Sara. I absolutely love this week’s curation and mix of intriguing readable finds. Thank you so much. I hope your hip feels better soon, that you get that working cart sooner than later, and that you are all doing well. Take care ma’am. Cheers, Ardith

    • Thanks Ardith! The hip is doing okay now that the damp is gone. It makes me feel old 😂 I think I’ll do some yoga this week because that always helps make things feel better (my knees get sore too). You and the Mr. take care and have a great week. ❤️
