I finally got the faux leather trousers in the colour that I wanted. I found them at Zara online, but then I had to do an exchange them because they fit really big and I needed a size down. So note that you should by the size down if you like them.
I have been wanting a cognac pair of faux leather trousers in a wide-leg cut for a while and the price couldn’t be beaten on these. As you can see I wore them twice last week, and I think outfit 3 is my most favourite outfit that I have worn in a long time.
I may or may not have done a dumb thing. remember my boot debacle from Poshmark? Where the seller made a mix-up and then kept saying she would correct the mistake and then finally ghosted me while keeping both the boots and the money?
I was able to get my money back but it was a really bad experience, especially since it was my first Poshmark purchase.
The dumb thing I did was order another pair of boots from her (glutton for punishment?) At first, I thought she was going to cancel the sale once she saw it was me, but I don’t even think she realized it until she printed off the shipping label, and by then it was too late.
Anyway, Poshmark in Canada is still very new so the market is quite small. I can never seem to find what I am looking for when it is something very specific, although I can literally find anything on the US site.
This seller seems to carry the brand of boot I want in my size, for quite a bit less than what other people are asking which is why I tried a second time.
They should be delivered this week so fingers crossed that it is the right boots in the package this time around 😉 I actually like this style even better than the first, so maybe things worked out for the best.

ugh, that’s a really crappy first experience with Poshmark! if it ever expands like it has here in the US, it’s hit or miss with the sellers/their products. not sure how it’ll compare to your eBay experiences. some sellers are so helpful and provide measurements and detailed pictures, not to mention how quick they are to respond to messages/questions. others, i feel more like i’m bothering them! fingers crossed you get some (correct) awesome boots!
It definitely brought down the experience. I actually used to sell vintage clothes on eBay waaaay back when it was super awesome (early to mid 2000s), so I totally get the hit a miss things/sellers. I’m a little more cautious now after that boots situation. I actually just got an message letting me know the package is at our local post office waiting to be delivered. I’m pretty stoked.

They are great! I think they fit so big because of the combination of the wide legs and elastic waist. Good luck! I hope you enjoy them as much as I do 🙂
