We had grandiose plans today to spend the day together as a family thrifting and hitting some vintage toy shops.
That all went to shit when Tom remembered that he forgot to transfer Merle’s car seat to his new work truck that he brings home on the weekends. So the day was much more uneventful.
I was also hoping to hit up Sherway Gardens Mall to try on a pair of boots. I found them online on sale but don’t know what size to get.
The reviews all range between fitting true to size and fitting big, so while the size chart says to order a European 39, most of the reviews show that I probably will need a 38.
There is a store in Sherway that has them in stock in a different store (not on sale), so I wanted to go try a pair on to verify the size first. I may take a gamble and get the 38. Damn these long finger toes 🙁
We walked over to Spirit Halloween instead and now I am at home writing blog posts, menu planning for the week, and rewatching The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel (such a great show).
Tom is currently out right now trying to make a deal to sell some of his less favourite Star Wars pieces from his collection. Hallelujah.
I must have slept weird last night because my neck is wonky today and doesn’t feel better with Tylenol and Ibuprofen.
Even though I love my pillow I think it may be time for a new one. Something made specifically for a side sleeper. I wonder if those work.
