Over the past two weeks Tom has brought home a flute, trumpet, and saxophone. Add that to the 3 guitars, six basses, and keyboard that we already have and I think he may be trying to build himself an orchestra.
Either that or he is trying to become Prince who I believe could play every instrument except the oboe.
Change of topic to a Hallelujah Roo finally cleaned her room. And I mean CLEANED it. I have about 9 loads of laundry to complete after the room is done. The amount of literal crap she had in that room was insane.
I think she collects garbage. It reminds me of the scene in the Labyrinth with the Junk goblin lady who lives in the trash heap and never gets rid of anything. Speaking of her I came across an amazing Junk Goblin Lady Cosplay. Now that is a good costume.
I’m not even sure what motivated her to finally do it……maybe she was starting to gross herself out. I’m just glad she did.
She also decided to move the room around while she was at it. Completely barred me from the room until she was done. Now the closet is really hard to get in to but there is more floor space. I guess you have to take the good with the bad in this type of situation.
I wish I could move my room around. As it is, I literally have to walk with my back against the wall to get past the footboard. I guess the bed frame is just a tad too big for the size of the room. I have been wanting to get a smaller more streamlined bed frame. Maybe something with drawers under it for storage.
I’m sure it will be Ikea to the rescue once again.
It was quite a bit cooler today and I loved it. It’s nice being able to sleep with the windows open again after the stagnant air of the summer. The heat and humidity is coming back on Tuesday, but is only sticking around for about 24 hours I think, which makes it more bearable.
I purged my closet again yesterday and managed to go through my sweaters. I also found a Christmas present from last year that I apparently hid so well that even I forgot about it.
I’m making a Christmas present spreadsheet/checklist this year to keep track.
