SHOP THE POST

I’ve been so cold in our condo lately that I decided today was the day that everyone got new slippers……well everyone except Tom because he doesn’t wear them.

Nothing fancy, just some inexpensive Walmart pairs. I usually get a full on slipper boot style that goes to my shin, but I opted for some slip-ons this time around. We shall see how I like them. I am the type of person who constantly has cold hands and feet so I will wear these all the way through next summer so they need to be good.

I always try to keep a mental list of things that I want to look for in thrift stores so I have a goal every time I step in the store. ]

My current thrift list is a long sleeve, button front pyjama top in navy blue with white piping (I’m sure being that specific will mean that I won’t find one), and a 1970s suit jacket/blazer in a bold colour like red, yellow, or jade green.

I should learn to keep these in a note on my phone because I know there is more than I want than that, but I just can’t remember. Which seems to be the story of my life :/

Tom found me a second hand iWatch today for $50. I was recently thinking about how nice one would be but wasn’t planning to buy one since they are so pricey, so this was a good score. Now it just needs a better band.

The first week of our new school year is down and I am still pondering whether all the curriculum choices are going to work. I plan on having a post up regarding what we are using this year within a few days.

I think it is the French. I always struggle with finding a decent french course that isn’t just for solo study because she needs guidance with it. Do any of you have a good french course that you have taken or used that you would recommend? I’m always open to trying something new.
