SHOP THE POST

It was a three outfit sort of week. Well, not exactly three outfit but it was all I managed to get photos of. I am trying to get everything in an organized and neat and orderly fashion before we start back at school on Tuesday so mostly it was leggings, sweatshirts and sports bras.

The condo is pretty much chaos too because all this week I have had the place sorted in to piles while I purged and moved things around. It’s amazing how much crap you accumulate in a short period of time. Tom just made a Value Village drop off and I am reorganizing the bookshelves which were due for it anyway.

I cleaned my computer desk which was horrifying to say the least, and even managed to get rid of some old dishes and cupboard clutter. I’m not going to lie, there were a couple of baby bottles still kicking around up there 😐

I plan to reorganize some of my closet and shelves today as well, so that my collection of t-shirts have their own shelf. I originally had them all hanging up in the closet but I honestly hate that closet (it’s more of a storage closet than clothes at the moment). It’s definitely not closet goals 😉

I figured having them all neatly folded on a shelf would both look and feel better. Plus, I am a master t-shirt folder from working in retail for a million years. All I need is that piece of plexi-glass that we used to help fold and make everything perfectly the same size. It’s a lot quicker that way.

And for future reference for anyone that likes to rifle through the t-shirts in stores to look for a size: When a sales person asks you if they can help you find a size it’s not because they are trying to get commission out of you. It is because they want you to stop rifling through the t-shirts so they don’t have to refold everything, so just let them. They are better at it than you are 😉 That is my tip of the day.

I swore I wasn’t going to buy anything clothes-wise for a while because I just dropped some cash on the girls school books and supplies. Buuuuut Mango is having a Labour Day weekend sale and the long, oversized cardigan I have been dancing around getting is 30% off with the code LBR19

A cardigan like this has been on my wish list for about 3-4 years so I don’t feel tremendous guilt about spending, just some minor 😉  It will be really nice for autumn though, and if I was only allowed to spend money on clothes for one season it would be autumn.
