Did you see that the new Harry Potter: Wizards Unite app launched? It is the Harry Potter version of Pokemon Go. It’s lots of fun, and the girls and I have been playing it this weekend. I personally think it is way better than Pokemon Go but I have never really been in to Pokemon. You can see more information about it on the Pottermore website.
If you choose to download it, be careful when you choose your “secret code name” because you can’t change it. I was trying to delete mine and hit confirm instead by accident and now I’m stuck with a stupid name.
My new bag that I treated myself to for my upcoming 40th birthday arrived last week and I love it. You can kind of see it in the last photo above. I plan on doing a blog post about it this week maybe.
I tried a new type of pasta tonight and completely misjudged how much to make. There didn’t look like enough for the four of us, but I didn’t realize they would expand that much when cooked. Now I have enough for an army. Does anybody want to come over for pasta? I’ll have enough for all of you.
My girls tend to get a dry scalp, so I bought this new dry scalp shampoo from the Body Shop today. It smells awesome, so I hope it works. It’s got excellent reviews so I am feeling positive. I also got the body butter in the same scent because I always get suckered into their deals. Their Body Butters are amazing and I LOVE the smell of ginger.
I’m also slowly trying to switch us over to as many ethical health/beauty and house products as I can, so this is a good start. I’ve warned them within an inch of their life that they are not to waste it. Somehow or another they go through shampoo so quickly. I don’t even want to know what they do with it.
Week two of my apartment looking like a disaster zone. Who wants to put down bets that there will be a week three?
