I would say about 30-40% off the requests I get are for plus size options and I try to include those as much as I can. Being inclusive is a priority. The being said today’s request is for a June trip to several cities, namely Prague, Paris, Berlin, Amsterdam, and Moscow. June is a funny time of year (and by funny I mean one of my favourites), with its transition from spring to summer. It can be really hot, cool, and/or rainy. The listed cities range from 17°C – 25°C  during the day with and average of 22°C during the month of June. Some are more rainy than others, and all will cool down at night so I tried to make this as much of a transitional wardrobe that I could.

The foundation of the wardrobe is the colour black because that is her favourite, but since an all black wardrobe for several weeks straight might get monotonous I tried to add a bit of colour here and there. If you don’t like the print of vibrancy of the red blouse than a classic white blouse in a cotton or silk will be a good option. The blue kimono style wrap shirt is super versatile and can be left open as a lightweight jacket during warmer days, and if you don’t like dresses or think two is too many, then omit one and trading it in for a skirt which will expand the outfit options significantly. Obviously the choice is based on your wardrobe preferences.

For shoes a sneaker is a great option, although I included a Vans slip-on because I have this pair and I love them in summer. I wanted to add some of fun with the animal print loafers because they look great paired with black as well. These are by Sam Edelman and are almost identical to the pair that I recently bought which are also by Sam Edelman. These are the Loir loafer and mine are the Loraine, and the only visible difference is the bar across the front looks subtly different as far as I can see. A slide rounds out the shoe options, but a sandal could be a great choice as well. It all depends on your comfort and the weather.

What I tried to make sure was that everything could be worn alone or easily under other pieces in the instance of cooler temperatures. Both the blazer and the leather jacket work over every single piece and will give you many looks for many different occasions. You shouldn’t have any worries about having nothing to wear with these choices because even the black dress looks amazing alone for a dressy occasion and can easily be made casual by wearing sneakers and something over.

My favourite part of summer is June when the weather is just starting to turn hotter but is still comfortable. June thunderstorms are my favourite time of year. What’s yours?
