Once again I am pushing it for time but I thought I would try to squeeze one more packing list in this week since I said I would have it done by the first week in June. I have one sick kid, one kid that has switched into major lazy mode, and I had to wake up super early and then wait around all day waiting for the guy to come and changed the central air filters. I know, first world problems, but I hate when they say they’ll be there between 8 and 5. It’s like a totally wasted day. I had to wake up early so that I could move all of the furniture away from the unit and then clean the place so we don’t look like slobs;)  Super fun.

This request is for 14 days in Copenhagen for late spring/early summer. The temperatures for this trip will range between 17°C-24°C during the day and 10°C-15°C at night which are my ideal temps. Some stipulations were that the list be fairly neutral in colours with an edge. No shorts, no skirts, but dresses were fine. It follows the ideas that I would make for a similar trip so I mentally went through my closet and then found similar items for this list.

Then denim style that I am really into right now is a mid to high-rise, ankle length jean. I found a great pair at Zara (I cut off the fringe part to give it a cleaner look and hit the ankle better on my short legs) and the shaping denim from H&M (I adore the fit of these jeans, but you have to size up because they kind of suck everything in like spanx). So I included similar pairs in this list because I know that they would be comfortable and fit well. For shoes I was going to include a sandal but this season I am more in to slides which is what I would bring, along with a sneaker, and a short boot. A leather jacket always makes a good addition because it is warm, easily layers, and instantly adds that edge when you put it on. A few shirts of varying cuts, and styles, along with a cardigan, and a oversized pullover/sweatshirt rounds my selections.

I put together 15 outfit options below. I was going to pull together 30 but it was late last night when I finished the first 15. I might put together another 15 options this weekend and add it to the post. Come back later for the extra options if you want them. I’ve had a lot of people message me to let me know that they use the 30 options as a guide for outfit planning for a month so I try to always include 30 or at least close to that number for this reason.

Copenhagen is one of the cities on my “would move to in a drop of a hat” list. What’s on yours?

  1. SO glad I found you Sara (via Pinterest) – now a fan on your feeds. We leave THIS Saturday 6/24 to Denmark (then St. Petersburg 1/2 days & Finland) so I have been trying to figure out what to wear myself. Meeting BF’s family, so don’t want to get too casual, but still be myself. Don’t have your gorgeous body (mine is far shorter and slightly square – lol) except for some boobs. LOL But love the options you chose here, although I did buy some Athleta leggings, their skorts (which really look just like skirts thankfully) and their thin cargo pants. But I’m a converse girl (still at 52) also.
Thank you for the information and options.
