I have never had the pleasure of visiting Las Vegas, but the mom’s on my birth board all decided that if we ever had a meet up that would be a great place for us to go. It’s a good place for a bunch of mom’s to completely let their hair down and have a good time. I had an email request for packing help for Las Vegas in February. As far a Las Vegas temperatures go February is considered cold. It ranges from the 70’s°F (around the 20’s°C) during the day to the 40’s°F (around 5°C) at night, so depending where you are coming from it may feel cold or it may feel like it’s summer (like it would for me coming from Toronto). I planned this list based on the range of temperatures and gave some alternative suggestions below for different ideas.
The way you dress in Vegas during the day is completely different from how you dress as night so you may have to bring some more clothes options to accommodate that. Since the temperatures aren’t extreme desert heat at this time of year you can get away with wearing pants (or leather pants for nighttime) or you can toss in some shorts. If leather pants aren’t your thing cut them out and add a great dress as seen in the options below, or add a flashy top or tank. I also showed that you could bring a pair of sandals instead of flats depending on what the weather forecast. That is something I would wait until last-minute and decided based on what the weather for that area is predicted to be. If you are wondering what a coatigan is, it is a combination of a cardigan and a lightweight coat. The name makes me laugh though. Now for the bathing suit. Even though you may not be doing a lot of outdoor swimming during the cooler months your hotel will most likely have an indoor pool and sauna so do not forget a swimsuit if that is something you enjoy. The oversized scarf I included serves several purposes. First, as a scarf, second as a shawl, and third as a bathing suit cover up. Multi purpose items save packing space.
I hope that I was able to give you some ideas for what to bring to Las Vegas in its cooler months (the list will change for summer). The outfit options for are in this post.
