Sigh, what a night. It all started when I dropped something on the floor beside my condo fan coil unit, and when I bent to pick it up, I could hear a dripping sound.
Immediately, my stomach dropped, and I opened up the fan coil and saw there was water at the bottom. So I messaged the landlord, who said she would call the HVAC people that do the work in this building and get back to me in the morning.
Then, like an hour later, I got a knock at the door, and it was the building maintenance who said there was water leaking on the 4th floor and asked if he could check out the fan coil.
I told him it was ours that was leaking, and we have a repair guy coming in tomorrow. So he came in and disconnected some parts so that the dripping would stop, which means no air conditioning until it is repaired.
Which sucks because it is warmer this week again. I cleaned up the water inside it, and hopefully it is an ewasy fix, and there wasn’t damage to the other units.
I really don’t need this shit right now.
Anyway, this is why this is late, when I usually get it out much earlier on Tuesdays.
No theme this week, just things I like and am searching for.
Starting with this asymmetrical zipper leather jacket, which is so cool. I love the way the collar goes up when it is fully zipped.
Then some men’s vintage Ralph Lauren wool trousers. Vintage RL makes the best wool trousers; I have never been disappointed with a pair.

I want a pair of men’s cords so badly for fall and have yet to find a pair. These are good.
This cardigan is from the MET store and I absolutely love it. The colour most definitely, but the little cherub at the bottom makes the whole piece.

My current fixation is vintage velvet jackets like this Tommy Hilfiger with the crossover frog button. It is so lush.
But then we have this Sarah Pacini bag, which can be a crossbody, but I really love the way this one looks with the top handle.
The triangle shape is so unique.

How about a velvet burnout duster? The muted florals in this really caught my eye, and it would be such a good layering piece.
I also search for vintage Escada, but usually jackets and blazers are my go-to, as well as belts.
But then I saw this bag, which reminded me that their leather pieces are also really, really good.

These Dries Van Noten boots are so witchy, which is why I love them. They are magnificent.
Being brown, they tone down the witchy factor, though.
I couldn’t pass up sharing these Jil Sander oxfords because not only are they a classic, but the price is good with room to bargain.

Interesting-shaped leather jackets always catch my eye, and this one is a mossy green colour. So unique.
A little calf hair satchel bag that would be the perfect little black bag.

Etienne Aigner makes amazing leather pieces like this little Y2K bag. The colours are perfectly on trend right now.
Have I shared this coat before? I feel like I have, but maybe I have just seen it before.
It is 2005 Banana Republic and has the very strong Y2K feel to it. You can tell even before knowing the date when it was from.

I love the shape of these loafers, and the animal print is not a traditional leopard, which makes them stand out even more.
And for the last piece, I have a large vintage pendant-style necklace.
I believe it is a perfume locket, and the chain is adjustable by sliding it up and down like a bolo. It is a statement piece.

And that is it for tonight.
Now I am going to watch the last two episodes of North of North on CBC Gem. I can’t believe it is over already; it is such a great show.
I hope they get a season three, which I guess depends on how well they do on Netflix in the first couple of days, so please watch it because I need another season.
Hopefully with more than 8 episodes.
